Axis Security has been named Security Guarding Company of the Year at this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards – a second consecutive year, and the third time in four years that Axis has achieved this industry accolade.
Axis Security continues to experience spectacular success with its turnover rising from £2.4 million to £49 million in just six years and an ACS score that has increased year-on-year and this year topped at 171 out of a possible 174 placing it firmly in the top 1% of ACS security companies in the UK.
Along with its continued growth, this award recognises the business’ investment in technology, along with its ongoing investment in the support functions, such as training and development, compliance, and human resources and recruitment – this investment in particular continues to bring new levels of professionalism to the business.
Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, is pleased to see the company win the main prize against 12 other providers:“Axis Security had been enjoying great business success in recent years and this is a credit to the all those who work for the company, from the dedicated management team all the way through to the security officers who remain steadfast and committed to delivering the quality service our customer have come to expect.”
However, even in its position as the number one security company Managing Director of Axis Security, Chris Wisely says that it will not rest on its laurels: “We will continue to strive to do even better,” says Chris, “doing all that we can to enhance our reputation as the leading supplier of security services so that we can recruit, retain and develop the best people at all levels of the business.”
